She discussed a recent meeting of the Partnership to End Homelessness where they broke down the numbers from their January count of unsheltered people in Orange County. She also talked about the UPROAR Arts Festival that will bring art installments to several locations throughout Orange County during July and August. She also gave an update on meeting with some county departments, including the decision to eliminate the county’s pet registration fee. Included will be an update of  the climate action plan and a greater focus on minority neighborhoods. She also discussed area high school robotics teams that recently competed at state and national competitions. She also discussed the UPROAR Arts festival coming to Orange County in July. Finally, the board approved three new cites to be designated as historic.
