Carrboro Mayor Damon Seils spoke with 97.9 The Hill’s Andrew Stuckey on Friday, April 14th.  He gave an update on the 203 S. Greensboro Project, which is the future home of the Carrboro branch of the Orange County Library. He also discussed Carrboro’s upcoming open streets event, in which Weaver Street will be closed to car traffic. Also included are a discussion of food waste prevention awareness week, and explanation of a recent arrest in Carrboro.

Carrboro mayor Damon Seils spoke with 97.9 The Hill’s Andrew Stuckey on Friday, April 7th. He discussed the latest Truth Plaque that the town will be putting up–a historical marker in front of the historic Strayhorn home in Carrboro.  He also talked about the council developing a policy for the naming of town facilities in anticipation of naming the 203 South Greensboro building when it is completed. Carrboro Mayor Damon Seils spoke with 97.9 The Hill’s Andrew Stuckey on Friday, March 31st.  He remembered Durham Budget Director and Carrboro resident John Allore, who died when his bicycle was struck by a vehicle earlier this week.  Seils also gave updates on the Bolin Creek Greenway project, and an update to solar panels being installed on town buildings.
