It’s awards season, and Chapel Hill is taking part! On May 13, 2016, the Chapel Hill-Carrboro Chamber of Commerce will host the Business Excellence awards to honor local people and businesses that go above and beyond in a number of categories.

One component of the Business Excellence Awards is the WCHLChapelboro People’s Choice Awards. From February 22 to March 13, locals suggested their favorite businesses in Orange County and Chatham County in a variety of categories, including ‘Best Eats’, ‘Best Shopping’, and ‘Best Customer Service’.

After a week long run-off to break ties in eight categories, the top five contenders in each category have been chosen.

Voting to determine the winners in each category will be held from March 28 until April 15. Winners will be announced at the Business Excellence Awards on May 13 at PlayMakers Repertory Company. Visit carolinachamber.org/BEAS for event information.
