ESPN college basketball analyst and professional attorney Jay Bilas will deliver the 2018 commencement address for UNC’s School of Law.

Bilas, a Duke University graduate and member of the Duke Blue Devils basketball team from 1982-1986, has been practicing law at Moore & Van Allen in Charlotte since 1992, specializing in commercial litigation.

He is also a New York Times bestselling author for his book “Toughness: Developing True Strength On and Off the Court”.

The commencement ceremony is set to take place Saturday, May 12, at 10 a.m. in Carmichael Arena.
