A UNC student died after drowning at the Eno River last week. Multiple outlets are reporting 20-year-old Karriem Ahmad “Eric” Jenkins died last Thursday at Duke Hospital.
WGHP – TV in the Triad is reporting Jenkins was from Greensboro.
Jenkins was reportedly pulled from the river around 3 p.m. last Wednesday.
UNC confirmed to multiple outlets that Jenkins was a student at the university beginning in August 2016.
