The Chapel Hill Police Department issued a call for help searching for a missing woman on Friday.
A release from the department said authorities are searching for Aliane Urujeni, a 25-year-old Black woman with black hair and dark eyes.
Described as around 5-foot-6 and 140 lbs, Urujeni was last known to be in the area of Umstead Drive on October 9, and may have been seen in the same area on October 12.
The Chapel Hill Police Department described Urujeni as last wearing a white t-shirt, yellow cardigan, khaki shorts, and no shoes.
Anyone with information concerning the whereabouts of Aliane Urujeni is encouraged to call the Chapel Hill Police Department at 919-968-2760 or contact Orange County Communications by calling 911 or 919-732-5063.
