The Chapel Hill Police Department is turning to the community for helping locating a community member last seen more than one month ago.
A release by the department Tuesday afternoon said 31-year-old Dylan Scarth has been reported missing and was last seen on the morning of Tuesday, May 2. Police, who said Scarth is from Chapel Hill, said he was last seen in the area of Christopher Road — a road that runs parallel to Fordham Boulevard near the Glen Lennox and Cleland Drive neighborhoods.
Scarth is described as six feet tall and weighing around 165 pounds. According to a photo shared by police, he has brown hair, a moustache, and a beard. When last seen in May, he was wearing jeans and a t-shirt.
Chapel Hill Police said anyone with information about Scarth’s whereabouts and wellbeing is encouraged to call 911 or contact the department directly at 919-968-2760 during business hours.
