A Chapel Hill motorist struck a cyclist on Rosemary Street near Breadmen’s on Wednesday evening.
Chapel Hill Police Lieutenant Josh Mecimore says police responded to a call at 5:19 Wednesday.
“The vehicle was making a turn into a parking lot and failed to see that the bicyclist was there,” Mecimore says. “The cyclist was taken to UNC ER, and I don’t know his status at this point.”
Mecimore say the driver of the vehicle was cited for unsafe movement.
