The Town of Carrboro, El Centro Hispano and community organizers are holding an information session for DACA recipients tonight at 6:30 p.m. at Carrboro’s Town Hall.

During the session, Carrboro representatives and immigration lawyers will work with DACA recipients to identify what documents are needed for renewal, provide forms for renewal and answer any questions.

The information session will be followed by a free DACA Renewal Clinic this Saturday from 1:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the Town Hall in Carrboro where the documents and forms covered during the session are necessary.

Scholarships for the DACA application renewal fee of $495.00 will be available to DACA recipients residing in Carrboro who attend both the information meeting and sign up for the free clinic.

October 5 is the last day to submit DACA renewal applications to the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services for recipients with employment documents that expire between September 5, 2017, and March 5 of next year.
