Orange County Animal Services (OCAS) recently joined NBCUniversal Local’s 2021 Clear The Shelters – a nationwide pet adoption campaign. During the campaign, all adoption fees for all adoptable pets at OCAS will be waived.
This year Clear The Shelters runs August 23 through September 18.
A reservation event will be held at OCAS on September 17 to finalize the campaign. The facility will be closed during the event with the exception of those who make appointments in advance.
During those appointments, people can view, meet, and adopt pets. Meet and greet sessions are held in-person at OCAS.
This is the seventh consecutive year that NBC and Telemundo owned stations have partnered with shelters and rescues on the campaign.
Since 2015, NBCUniversal Local’s Clear The Shelters Campaign has resulted in more than half a million pets finding new homes.
