Budget season continues this week in local government, and now it’s your turn to weigh in: most town and county managers have already unveiled their budget proposals for the coming fiscal year, so this week features public budget hearings in Hillsborough, Carrboro, Chapel Hill, and Chatham County, where residents can offer their feedback. Not to be outdone, the city of Durham is knocking it all out at once: city manager Bo Ferguson will unveil his budget plan on Monday, and then a public hearing is scheduled for Thursday.

Here’s a rundown of local government meetings this week in Durham, Orange, and Chatham Counties.
