Local government boards are nearing their summer breaks, but there are still a handful of outstanding issues left to address. The Carrboro Town Council, Durham City Council, Pittsboro Board of Commissioners, and Orange County Board of Commissioners are all meeting this week to approve their respective budgets for next year; meanwhile, the Chapel Hill Town Council is set to tackle big development questions, including the “Complete Communities” housing-density plan as well as UNC Health’s proposal for expanding in Eastowne.
