Budget season heats up this week in Orange County, as county commissioners hear budget requests from the Chapel Hill-Carrboro and Orange County school boards. The Chapel Hill Town Council, meanwhile, is focused on development, as council members consider a proposal for a seven-story apartment building in the heart of downtown. And in Hillsborough, Mayor Jenn Weaver will deliver this year’s State of the Town address on Monday night.
