A fire at a hotel near the Orange and Durham county lines led to the Chapel Hill and Durham Fire Departments teaming up on Wednesday morning.

The Chapel Hill Fire Department shared on social media that a crew responded to a fire at the Red Roof Inn, which is at 5623 Fordham Boulevard and has its own access road off Eastowne Drive. A photo shared from the scene showed smoke emanating from a room on the second floor.

Shortly after 10 a.m., the fire was brought under control by the responding firefighters. No injuries were reported in the fire, according to Chapel Hill Fire.
