Alexander Hernandez, a 25 year old male, was arrested on charges of second-degree rape Thursday.
The arrest was made at 12 Audley Lane in Chapel Hill early on Thursday morning.
Hernandez was armed with “personal weapons” when he was arrested, according to the Chapel Hill Police Report.
Hernandez is being held in the Orange County Jail with a $50,000 secured bond and is expected to appear in court in Hillsborough on Friday.
No other details were immediately available.
