UNC Health is partnering with Orange County and Chapel Hill-Carrboro City Schools for a pop-up vaccination clinic at Phillips Middle School in Chapel Hill.

The event on Saturday, May 22 is open to the public. Pfizer shots will be available at the school on Estes Drive via appointment or on a walk-in basis.

Vaccinations will be conducted from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

UNC Health began offering the Pfizer vaccine to kids ages 12 to 15 this past Thursday following new recommendations from the federal government.

Pfizer is the only coronavirus vaccine approved for those under 18. Currently, North Carolina has close to 800,000 first and second doses of the Pfizer vaccine.
