Elements Restaurant in Chapel Hill is set to close later this month after more than a decade in operation, the business announced earlier this week. The last day of service is set for Saturday, June 21.
“We truly appreciate all the love and support over the last 14 years,” read the restaurant’s announcement.
Elements is located at 2110 Environ Way in Chapel Hill, within the same shopping center as restaurants such as First Watch and Hawthorne & Wood. According to the business’ announcement, it plans to merge with Elements’ sister restaurant, MC Cuisines. MC Cuisines is located at 324 South Academy Street in downtown Cary. Michael Chuong is the chef and founder of both restaurants.
Elements is described as “contemporary new American cuisine” which blends “classical and modern Asian and European techniques” on its website. Since opening in 2012, it was consistently lauded, winning four consecutive “Best of Chapel Hill” awards from Chapel Hill Magazine between 2016 and 2019.
