Orange County Animal Services is looking for somebody who wants to adopt Patty.
Patty is a mighty kitten who will melt your heart.
She came into the WCHL and Chapelboro office Tuesday morning. She was cute and quiet. Sarah from Orange County Animal Services told us about her bad leg. She said that Patty can only use three of her legs.
Then, she sat Patty down.
The mighty kitten with only three legs took off across the office. She does not let a bad leg hold her back.
Patty is about 3 months old, according to Animal Services. She is a Tabby, short-hair (but, her hair is a bit longer than many short-hairs). She has gray and white hair, white boots, and green eyes. You can hold her with one hand and she will let you.
Orange County Animal Services is looking for somebody to adopt Patty, today. Last week, Sarah brought in Leah, a sweet terrier. Leah was adopted almost immediately.
Adopt Patty today at Orange County Animal Services. She is in Cat Adoption Room 1.
Orange County Animal Service’s mission is to meet the needs of residents by working with volunteers and other partners to deliver cost-effective and integrated sheltering and animal control services that ensure the health, safety and well being of humans, pets and the community as a whole. Addressing the problem of pet overpopulation with a proactive and positive approach is an integral ingredient of the department’s mission.
They are located on 1601 Eubanks Road in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. The adoption area opens to the public at noon, Monday through Saturday. See their full hours here.
Listen to WCHL on 97.9 FM, 1360 AM, or online at Chapelboro.com. Adopt-a-Pet, featuring a new pet that needs a home, airs every Tuesday at 8:40 AM.
