It is National Signing Day and college football programs around the country are adding the next class of freshmen.
UNC is no exception. Eight newcomers graduated high school in December and enrolled early at Carolina.
Other seniors, who up until today were only verbal commits, are sending in Letters of Intent to play for the Tar Heels.
Defensive end Nolan DeFranco was the first commit to send in his LOI.
