Former UNC forward Brice Johnson has been named to the USA Men’s Select Team, which was announced on Tuesday.
The team will train with the senior men’s national team during its training camp in Las Vegas.
Johnson led the Tar Heels to an appearance in the national championship game during his senior season at Carolina. Johnson was named a consensus first-team All-America for his performance over the course of the 2015-2016 season.
Other members of the 25-member USA Select team include former University of Virginia forward Malcolm Brogdon, former Syracuse forward Jerami Grant and five former Duke players – Rodney Hood, Brandon Ingram, Jahlil Okafor, Jabari Parker and Justise Winslow.
Johnson is one of five members of the team who are eligible for this month’s NBA Draft.
