What happens when a leader’s search for truth reveals realities that threaten both personal authority and public stability? Using PlayMakers’ production of Oedipus: King/Colonus as a catalyst, educators will explore leadership during crisis, the fragility of public trust, civic responsibility, and the difficult relationship between knowledge and power. Participants will also consider how these enduring questions can spark meaningful conversations across literature, history, civics, and the humanities.
This free educator experience includes facilitated discussion, lunch, the performance, and CEU credit. Registration and selection is required. This event is for K-12 teachers only. Register Here
