UpClose Chamber Music Series: The Verona Quartet & Ray Dooley

“The rest is silence.” Playmakers legend Ray Dooley joins forces with the Verona Quartet to present Shakespeare’s Hamlet through the musical lens of Schubert’s  String Quartet No. 14, known as “Death and the Maiden.” Acclaimed by The New York Times as an “outstanding ensemble…cohesive yet full of temperament,” the Verona Quartet—curators of The COT’s UpClose Chamber Music Series—brings its bold, electrifying artistry, while Ray Dooley draws on 40 years of celebrated stage and screen experience—including a lifetime steeped in Shakespeare. This performance marks the collaboration’s powerful debut.

This event is presented by The Chamber Orchestra of the Triangle in partnership with Carolina Performing Arts. Tickets & information at www.thecot.org/upclose.
