Art in an Age of COpies
November 13, 2025
Art history is filled with copies that raise fascinating questions: What is “real” art? Can a copy become real? Can it change the meaning of the original? Can artists use copies to comment on the meaning of art? We’re bringing together two art historians to explore what copies can do, one through the art of Classical Rome, the other through Contemporary Art. Join us for this very original event about copies!
Keep the discussion going after the event at an informal, convivial gathering across the street at Glasshalfull restaurant.
