Town and Gown

Downtown Chapel Hill and the UNC campus are open air museums of public art: murals, sculptures, fountains, bus shelters, fountains, mosaics, and other artworks are everywhere. Although we may see public art all the time, we rarely have the chance to hear its stories.  Join us for a walking tour of public artworks, guided by two experts: a professor of art whose medium is public art and Chapel Hill’s public arts administrator. (Rain date is scheduled for April 25.)
