The Mockernut Show 2024

Come out to the wonderful woods of Chatham County for the Mockernut Show 2024!  Doug Dotson Pottery will host a showing and sale of wonderful pottery, jewelry and rock art on Saturday and Sunday, September 28-29, 10am-4pm both days.  Doug Dotson will have an array of functional and earthy soda fired stoneware pottery, in addition Ronan Peterson will bring his highly decorated, functional earthenware pottery, complete with funk and flare.  Kate Parrent creates unique and super detailed drawings on smooth beach stones from Maine, and don’t miss Roberta Marasca’s exquisite and thoughtful jewelry, made from precious metals and stones.  This year’s invited guest is potter Bill Jones.  Bill makes very functional pots and also has a penchant for sculptural explorations of vessels and domestic forms.  We’ll have lots of pots, rock art, jewelry, refreshments and snacks to welcome you to this special annual event.  Please come see us, and bring your friends!
