💜 Queer Night at The Plant: Purple Power Meetup! 🌈

Tired of meeting your future ex on an app? Let’s go analog! Join us for a fabulous evening where the drinks are local, the food is fire, and the company is queer. It’s time to build community in real life!

This meetup is the inaugural event in our new series dedicated to building queer community while supporting local queer and ally owned businesses. Please note, this is a friendly, grassroots gathering using this wonderful space, not an official event hosted or sponsored by The Plant.

📍 The Plan: Meet & Disperse

We’re taking over The Plant in Pittsboro on Saturday, November 22nd, at 5:00 PM for a relaxed community meetup.

Step 1: The Initial Meet-Up (5:00 PM)

We’ll kick things off at Fair Game Beverage Company! This eclectic Tasting Room offers spirits, wine, beer, and kombucha—so grab your first drink and hang out right at 5:00 PM to easily spot and chat with new faces.

Step 2: The Adventure Begins! (Post-5:30 PM)

Once you’ve had a first drink and gotten your bearings, we strongly encourage you to disperse and explore everything else The Plant has to offer! Use this incredible, eclectic hub as a backdrop for organic conversation. Treat yourselves to dinner, grab another kind of drink, or try a fun activity. Think of it as a choose-your-own-adventure evening!

Your Mission: Find the other fabulous queer people.

Your Secret Weapon: Wear something purple! A shirt, a scarf, or even just a splash of lavender—it’s the only signal you need to find your new friends (or nemesis, TBD).
