Join Morehead Planetarium and Science Center for Teen Science Cafe! On Friday, January 30, Dr. Erin McKenney, an assistant professor and Director of Undergraduate Programs at North Carolina State University, will dive into her research on the relationship between food and gut microbiomes in both animals and humans.

Morehead’s monthly Teen Science Cafes are open to teens ages 13-18 and offer a variety of exciting activities, engaging talks from expert speakers, and even free food! This program covers a wide range of topics, from the intricacies of cell biology to the wonders of deep space galaxies, making it an out-of-this-world experience for students to explore new ideas and meet other teens who share an interest in science.
