Star Families: The Moon

Explore the wonders of astronomy with Morehead Planetarium and Science Center! During a tour of the North Carolina night sky, we’ll take a close look at our neighbor in space, learning the basics about the Moon’s features, orbit, phases, and how it appears to move in our sky.

Star Families is a special series that provides a live, family-friendly planetarium experience. Arrive before your show or stay after to journey through Morehead’s interactive exhibits, science demo spaces, and Cosmic Goods gift shop.
