Spring Native Plant Sale
May 3 @ 9:00 am – 2:00 pm
Pre-registration required 9 a.m. – 12 p.m. One registration allows all people in your vehicle to access to the plant sale.Â
No registration required 12 – 2 p.m.
Join the North Carolina Botanical Garden and other local native plant nurseries for our annual Spring Native Plant Sale! Shop from a great selection of plants and support small businesses.
Growing Wild Nursery, Mellow Marsh Farm, Carolina Habitats (formerly Dirtbag Gardens), and the North Carolina Botanical Garden will be offering a wide variety of southeastern native perennials, vines, shrubs, trees, grasses, and carnivorous plants.
Tips:
Payment Methods
You must pay for your plants at each vendor this year. There will NOT be a consolidated check-out area. Please be sure to purchase your plants BEFORE walking away from each vendor’s area. All vendors will accept credit cards. Some vendors will accept additional forms of payment – please ask them for clarification BEFORE loading up.
B.Y.O.-Cart
If you’re planning to get more plants than you can easily carry in a tray, you may wish to bring your own cart or wagon. (We have some here, but not enough for everyone.)
Plants
We will not be publishing a plant list in advance for this sale, but between the four vendors there will be a wide variety of southeastern native perennials, grasses, ferns, vines, shrubs, and trees for sale.
Rain or Shine
The sale will be rain or shine: we recommend sunscreen if it’s sunny or a rain jacket if it’s rainy!
Again, thanks for your interest in the sale and native plants!
