Poetry Reading with Arielle Hebert, Destiny Hemphill, and Ali Wood!

Join us Thursday, August 20th to celebrate the release of NC poet Arielle Hebert’s debut poetry collection Bottom Feeders! Her “vibrant and gritty” poems were on Literary Hub’s Most Anticipated Poetry of 2026 and have garnered rave reviews throughout the country.  She will be joined by local poets Destiny Hemphill and Ali Wood. Hemphill will be reading from her 2023 collection, motherworld: a devotional for the alter-life, while Wood will be sharing a preview of her yet-to-be published work. We can’t wait to share them with you all!
