Durham Disability Pride

We’re thrilled to celebrate the 35th anniversary of the ADA and uplift the local Disability community at Durham’s third annual Disability Pride Parade on Saturday, July 26 at 3:30pm in Durham! The event will feature informational tables hosted by community organizations, along with interactive art activities and live music performed by Disabled artists. Attendees will hear from powerful speakers who will share what Disability Pride means to them. Afterward, we’ll parade along a short, accessible route that ends in a dance party. For those who wish to continue the celebration, there will be an optional group walk or ride to the Durham Bulls Game at 6:35pm (tickets are $20). The evening will end with a fireworks show following the game.
