Event Details

The American Legion Post 6 in Orange County warmly invites the local community to celebrate our community and the youth in the community. On Saturday, September 27, 2025 The American Legion Post 6 Chapel Hill, will feature a bounce house, wood carving, and many more events for the kids from 12 pm until 4 pm.

This free community celebration will offer bounce houses, snow cones, cotton candy, and children’s crafts. Hot Dogs, Hamburgers and Chicken Plates will be for sale at the event also.

American Legion Post 6 has organized Fall Festivals for many years in Chapel Hill, NC committed to fostering community engagement through family-friendly gatherings.

“We’re thrilled to bring the community together with this fall celebration and support the youth of the community,” said Festival Chair, Wally Washburn. “It’s a fun, family‑friendly way to welcome autumn and empower youth in our region.”

Media members and government officials are invited to join the festivities.

We will be considering an alternate date of October 4, 2025 in case of rain or bad weather on the Primary Day of September 27, 2025..

These events are open to the public, and all are encouraged to attend to show their support and appreciation for our veterans. Bring your family, friends, and neighbors as we reflect, remember, and celebrate together.
