Help Build the Fund
The work of 97.9 The Hill WCHL and Chapelboro.com is historically advertiser-supported through partnerships with local businesses, who are currently being impacted economically by COVID-19. For this reason, 97.9 The Hill and Chapelboro.com have recently begun accepting financial contributions from the community to maintain operations.
The Community Nonprofit Advertising Fund allows 97.9 The Hill and Chapelboro.com to use those contributions to give back to the community and benefit other local organizations through the Campaign for Local. In this way your contribution to the fund will help multiple local businesses at the same time.
For 2020 we will give advertising to 10 different local 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations, who will be chosen based on a community vote. The amount of advertising awarded to each nonprofit organization will be based entirely on the amount of funds raised through the Campaign for Local by Friday, October 9th, 2020.
For example, if $100,000 is raised for 97.9 The Hill and Chapelboro.com then each nonprofit organization would receive $10,000 in advertising credit. Thank you for anything you can help contribute below.
