How to Record and Submit:

If you would prefer to record your liner over the telephone please call 919-240-6026 to schedule a time!

Otherwise, here’s how you can do it online:

  • There are many suitable programs that can be used to record your liner, as long as the audio file we receive is an mp3 or mp4.  The easiest way is likely on your smart phone.  On an iPhone you can use the Voice Memos app (you will need to Save it to Files to upload it using the form), or there are many free audio apps you can download and use, like TwistedWave Recorder.
  • Make sure you are inside in a quiet location with no ambient noise (throwing a blanket over your head can help!).
  • Smile while you’re talking and make sure to keep your voice close to the microphone (smiling while speaking into a microphone is a great trick that all radio hosts use!).
  • Submit your audio file using this form or by emailing it to jada@wchl.com with the subject “Community Liner.”

  • Max. file size: 128 MB.
