UNC Receives Funding for Energy Research
$10.8 million has been given to the Energy Frontier Research Center for Solar Fuels of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill by the U.S. Department of Energy’s Office of Basic Energy Sciences. This grant will be used to work to produce more methods and resources for utilizing solar energy to produce fuels as efficiently as possible. This award is part of a $100 million each year from the DoE.
