The Chapel Hill High School girls’ basketball team has already recorded its best record in school history, and WCHL will be there to broadcast what could be the cap on its undefeated regular season.
Chapel Hill-Carrboro City Schools board member Mia Burroughs is hopeful to make a move to the County Commissioners, and she says she’s not going to stop working for schools if she gets there.
The Orange County Animal Services Department is hosting another “Spay Neuter Day” on Tuesday, February 25, at its location on Eubanks Road in conjunction with the national “Spay Day USA.”
“We experienced a fire at our Westbrook substation, which is located in the Carrboro area off of Jones Ferry Road,” Cashion said. “The fire occurred at 10:25 last night. Crews worked through the night and replaced the equipment restoring power by 5:09 this morning.”
