Revolutionary War Living History Day

Each year, the Alliance for Historic Hillsborough commemorates the occupation of Hillsborough by British General Lord Charles Cornwallis and his 1,900-man army on February 20, 1781, near the end of the Revolutionary War, by offering a day of living history events including military exercises from patriot militia and British army re-enactors and craft activities sponsored by the Orange County Historical Museum.
