Trending today is an increasingly popular scam (or not a scam?) among Russian soldiers who are being forced to the Ukrainian front: sham weddings with female friends, so they can collect the government death-benefit payout if the soldiers die. Go for it, Aaron says: the Russian government is taking advantage of you for their own gain, so turnabout is only fair play. (Though the Russian mafia’s getting involved, which makes it a little sketchier.)
