This weekend, Duke University’s Transformative Ideas Program is hosting an interdisciplinary symposium on “Cognitive Liberty.” It opens Thursday, March 5, with a public lecture by Harvard’s Arthur Brooks on the importance of “metacognition,” or the ability to be aware of our own thought processes and think about them consciously.
Click here for more on the symposium, which continues Friday and Saturday, March 6-7.
Aaron welcomes Micah Harris, a fellow in the Transformative Ideas Program, to discuss the symposium – and the meaning and importance of “cognitive liberty.”
