Carolina now knows its full 2025-26 season schedule, as the ACC announced the full slate of conference games Tuesday afternoon.
The conference schedule begins either December 30 or 31, when UNC hosts Florida State at the Dean Smith Center. Games listed with two potential dates will be finalized later in the fall.
Notably, Carolina will play road games at all three of the newest ACC members: SMU (January 3), Stanford (January 13 or 14) and Cal (January 17). The other road contests come at Virginia (January 24), Georgia Tech (January 31), Miami (February 10 or 11), NC State (February 17 or 18), Syracuse (February 21) and Duke (March 7, the regular-season finale).
UNC will not host NC State in Chapel Hill for the first time in the history of the Atlantic Coast Conference, which was founded in 1953. With the league’s new 18-game format, the Tar Heels will play two teams twice, 16 times once and not play one team in the league. For this season, UNC plays Duke and Syracuse twice (hosting the Orange February 2 and visiting Syracuse February 21) and will not play Boston College.
Home games at the Smith Center in conference play are Wake Forest (January 10), Notre Dame (January 20 or 21), Syracuse (February 2), Duke (February 7), Pittsburgh (February 14), Louisville (February 23), Virginia Tech (February 28) and Clemson (March 3 or 4).
