In conjunction with its ongoing “Past Forward” exhibition of Native American art, the Ackland Art Museum is hosting a conversation between Kiowa artists (and sisters) Keri Ataumbi and Teri Greeves. The conversation – titled “We Work and Make Beautiful Things” – will be Friday, April 12, from 6-9 p.m. during Second Friday Art Walk. It’s sold out, but you can still join a waitlist.
Visit Ackland.org for more information on the exhibition and Friday’s talk.
Aaron spoke with Ataumbi and Greeves about their art, their connection with UNC, and what they’ll be discussing in Friday’s conversation.
