Six former Tar Heels – Heather O’Reilly, Whitney Engen, Tobin Heath, Lori Chalupny, Meghan Klingenberg, and Ashlyn Harris – are preparing for the World Cup Final on Sunday.
UNC Women’s Soccer Coach Anson Dorrance, who has led Carolina to 21 National Championships since taking over the new program in 1979, tells WCHL’s Blake Hodge that he is confident the United States – and all of those Tar Heels – will bring home the World Cup.
