UNC will play their first series at home in 2016 against Oklahoma State.

The series starts at 3 p.m. on Friday, with reigning ACC Pitcher of the Week Zac Gallen taking the mound.

Gallen allowed just four hits in 7.2 shutout innings, striking out 11 as the Tar Heels won their opening game of the season.

He started the Tar Heels season strong last weekend, as they took the series 2-1 against a UCLA team that was heavily favored.

The Cowboys will make the second ranked opponent UNC has faced in the early goings this year.

UNC is scheduled to use the same group of starters they brought out against UCLA, with Gallen pitching Friday, JB Bukauskas and Jason Morgan pitching the Saturday and Sunday games.
