LOVED seeing the L&M duo featured! They were so much fun to watch “back in the day” and I was thrilled to see Larry Miller at last night’s (UNC v State) halftime, as he is one of my all time favorites. It was great to hear these names again! Thank you, Art Chansky!
Great interview. Larry Miller was my hero and all time favorite Carolina basketball player. I was in jr high at the time and played many 1 on 1 games against a good friend who was a Dook fan. I always pretended to be Larry Miller and would drive to the basket putting up spinning scoop shots around and under the arms of my taller friend, It drove him crazy. Playing football and basketball throughout school, I always asked to wear # 44 when available because of Larry. I would love to meet him someday and say thanks for the memories. I’m 65 now and looking back, I’m proud to say he is still a hero. We Tar Heels fans have been so blessed through the years to have had so many great players and quality people. With coach Smith, coach Williams and all the great assistants, our legacy is unmatched. Larry, you made the right choice. Great job Art. Devon Sharpe
