Many families around the world are still grieving the terrorist attacks in Paris, France, late Friday night.
A message was sent to the UNC community on Sunday through the Alert Carolina system that the five Carolina students who are studying abroad in Paris this semester have all been accounted for and are safe and unharmed.
The message urges students to increase vigilance throughout campus and to alert the Department of Public Safety with any unusual activity.
Counseling services are being made available to all UNC students, faculty and staff.
