The Friday afternoon before the Fourth of July weekend has been a nightmare for Triangle motorists.
Southbound I-85 at the Orange-Durham County line wass the sight of an accident causing major traffic trouble. Southbound motorists saw delays due to the crash at MM 170. Cars were at a standstill back to US 15-501.

I-40 motorists in Durham also experienced significant traffic trouble because of an accident near Miami Blvd.
