TOPO Organic Vodka, made by Chapel Hill’s Top of the Hill Distillery, received a gold medal from The Beverage Tasting Institute.

The Beverage Tasting Institute gave TOPO Organic Vodka 93 points, which is good enough for a gold medal award.

Bright, creamy, cheesy candied aromas of vanilla raisin cream cheese danish, fondant caramel bon bon, and corn candy with a silky, bright, dry-yet-fruity light-to-medium body and a tingling, stimulating, breezy buttery praline, latte, tres leche cake, and pepper finish. A vibrant, super creamy vodka.”

The Beverage Tasting Institute shared their favorite vodkas as a part of their monthly review of specific spirits.

In October of 2015, TOPO Distillery celebrated a new law that allows distilleries to sell one bottle of liquor per person, per year.
