Penny Rich has announced that she will be running for re-election to the Orange County Board of Commissioners next fall.
Rich is seeking a second term representing District 1 on the board after first being elected in 2012.
During her first term, Rich served as the Finance Chair on the Orange County Visitors Bureau and Co-Chair of the Solid Waste Advisory Group, among other designations.
Rich spoke with WCHL’s Blake Hodge about her re-election bid. Listen below:

Two candidates, Mark Macoplos and Matt Hughes , have announced their candidacy for the at-large seat up for election on the Board of Commissioners after Bernadette Pelissier announced she would not be seeking re-election.
Mark Dorosin’s District 1 seat is also up for election next fall, along with Renee Price’s District 2 seat.
