Today is Monday, June 13, 2016. It was a terrible weekend. Fifty people are dead in Orlando after an attack early Sunday morning. On Friday night, former contestant on “The Voice” Christina Grimmie was shot while signing autographs. That also happened in Orlando.
50 Dead in Orlando
An attack on an Orlando nightclub has left 50 people dead and 53 injured. It happened at a club called Pulse, a population destination for people in the LGBT community. Early Sunday morning, a man used an assault rifle and a 9mm semi-automatic pistol on people. It is the worst mass shooting in American history.
Christina Grimmie Fatally Shot
Earlier in the weekend, another tragedy struck Orlando. Christina Grimmie, a former contestant on “The Voice,” was killed while signing autographs.
