Lab Grown Meat
Back in 2013, Dutch scientists showed off a lab-grown burger. More recently, an American company called Memphis Meats made a lab meatball. Those who gave the meatball a taste say it is quite similar to the real thing.
Both groups say that lab-produced meats will be headed to supermarkets and restaurants soon.
Another company, Modern Meadow, is working on another lab-grown product. “Steak chips” will be like a combination of a potato chip and beef jerky.
New Kit Kat
The folks at Kit Kat have released a new flavor of the candy bar to select store sin Japan. The new bars are melon and mascarpone cheese flavored.
According to their website, the bars feature the “mild sweetness of Hokkaido melon and a fresh taste of mascarpone cheese.”
